About

Momoyama Nichigekka is the official salon of the Obaku Baisaryu school, one of the schools of the sencha tea ceremony. We hold various experiences such as tea ceremonies and workshops, all in a beautifully decorated environment for those interested in the tea world to enjoy. Participate in an authentic sencha tea ceremony experience, or experience various Japanese cultural activities through workshops. Located in Fushimi Momoyama, immerse in the history of Japan and enjoy the aesthetic sense of Obaku Baisaryu.

Facility

京都の伏見にある町家、日月下。
伏見は、平安京への遷都を行った桓武天皇の陵墓として定められた土地です。伏見桃山陵を真横にし、落ち着いた雰囲気の場所にひっそりと佇む日月下は、明治初期〜大正時代に建築された町家で2024年秋に内装を全面リニューアルし、黄檗売茶流の煎茶道体験ができるオフィシャルサロンへと生まれ変わりました。

Nichigekka, a traditional townhouse located in Fushimi Momoyama, Kyoto. Fushimi is known as the land designated as the site of the imperial tomb of Emperor Kanmu, who carried out the relocation of the capital to Heian-kyo. Located next to the Fushimi Momoyama Imperial Mausoleum, Nichigekka was built in the early Meiji to Taisho era that has recently been fully renovated to be reborn as a tea salon, where anyone can experience the beauty and tranquility of the Obaku Baisaryu sencha tea ceremony.
